Knight Ops SolutionsSM is a U.S.-based B2B supply chain and operations consulting firm that helps organizations enhance operational efficiency, strengthen execution, and achieve consistent, measurable results.
We work alongside leaders and teams to solve complex challenges across planning, execution, and visibility—bringing practical experience from manufacturing operations, supply chain networks, and executive leadership roles.
Jared Knight is the founder and President of Knight Ops SolutionsSM. He brings more than 20 years of supply chain, operations, and analytics leadership experience across complex manufacturing environments, including nearly 15 years in Director-level roles at large public companies.
His journey began with humble roots. Growing up on a farm, Jared learned the value of hard work, accountability, discipline, and solving problems with limited resources.
His leadership foundation was further strengthened through nearly a decade in the United States Marine Corps, where he developed the discipline, technical skills, and mindset that would shape his career.
The Marine Corps taught him how to lead under pressure, adapt quickly, overcome challenges, and execute with precision.
After transitioning into the civilian world, Jared began his professional career as an entry-level IT computer programmer at a multi-billion-dollar manufacturer.
Combining technical skills with operational curiosity, he quickly expanded beyond systems into manufacturing and supply chain leadership.
In less than five years, Jared became the company's first Director of Supply Chain, leading efforts to improve planning, execution, visibility, and operational performance across complex operations.
Throughout his career, Jared has worked directly with external customers, manufacturing teams, suppliers, distribution operations, and executive leadership to identify opportunities, eliminate constraints, and deliver sustainable improvements.
He is the inventor of a U.S.-patented supply chain tool that consolidated fragmented information from multiple disconnected systems into a single operational view. The solution provided visibility across supply chain and manufacturing operations and was used at scale for more than a decade.
His experience includes supply chain transformation, integrated planning (S&OP/SIOP/IBP), inventory optimization, manufacturing execution, distribution network optimization, supply chain analytics, systems improvement, and operational discipline.
